Pesto Variation 000001 – Creamy Basil Pesto
For this pesto variation I used about a cup of walnuts, about 2 cups of basil, about a cup of olive oil, 4 garlic cloves and a block of cream cheese.
I started by putting the garlic and the basil through the food processor and then adding the oil and the walnuts and finally the entire brick of cream cheese. I added a pinch of salt too. How did it turn out? Amazingly! – especially if you leave it in the fridge for a day or so and let the flavours come together.
