I wanted to make something different in terms of maki since I had been making a lot of California Roll lately but needed some variation that wasn’t too much trouble. And there aren’t too many places around here to get the right fish. So I thought I would make spicy mango. I chopped the mango and added a big pinch of dried crushed red peppers and cayenne peppper respectively, cause that’s what I had. I thought about using hot sauce but decided against it.
I tried the spicy mango in the maki and it worked out.
But the best was just mixing it with some chopped avocado to make a salad. Very 80 10 10 I think.
